Project 2

Project 2 : The Future City Representation

In this project, we got an opportunity to try manage and design a city. It is very fun and letting us to get prepare for architecture degree later.

Aim:
-To expose the elements of the natural and built environment in their basic unit, form and function
-To show symbiotic relationship of the elements of the natural and built environment
-To question, analyse and articulate the impact between natural and built environment

During this project, the some of my initial idea was rejected by my lecturer as I'm no doing deeper research about city. Yet, I'd came out with honey comb shape idea after i played the game ' Resident Evil ' which the city was built underground to ensure the research was classified. Then it comes the the group part which we have to built a model for every group, my group member was not following the schedule as we set up earlier and keep finding excuse to skip the group work. I managed to gather up everyone although it takes time and luckily we catch up the time and finished the model.

Thinking and Problem Solving

Public spaces is those places that we share among public, a place to relax, have fun and etc.
I learned alot about how to capture the public space and differentiate it. During the site visit, the API (Air Pollution Index)in on unhealthy level, so my group members have to put on mask when going to take picture at the park. It was an great experience.

Citizenship and Global Perspectives

I had realize the important of every member in the nature not only for food cycle but symbiotic system too.
Some species rely on another species to reproduce, food or even shelter. Living things can't live alone for the species, they must rely on others even human too. Therefore, we have to appreciate and take care of our mother nature.

I'd learn alot from TJ01 , especially about turtle conservation.
Turtle species play a very important role in the ecosystem , it control the population of jellyfish which feeding on fish egg that develop into the fish we consume .
Human should responsible on their action !

I'd enjoy the trip quite well , i felt like i'm a part of the environments . Study, fun and medication came to me at the same time as well . I like the resort but i felt sad when i spotted some pollution is going on at the reservoir , it seem like it's our duty to take care of the beauty of nature . This project also taught me how to jot down everything i see not in just note form , even in mind mapping , doddle-ing and even more. Moreover, I'd realize the important role played by nature that conservation and restoration progress is more than important, the balance between nature and mankind should be maintained.

Introduction of ENBE

ENBE

Element of Natural and Build Environments is a module that guide students to relate the surrounding environments with building . This module hold 5 credit hours. ENBE also allow students to configure a solution to conduct construction without harming the environments.
